Adult Contemporary (Beginner)
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, and ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements, and can be performed to many different styles of music.
Technical training is a plus but not required. At the start of class, we focus on stretching and core work and gradually builds up to weekly choreography to embody the movement and style. The focus is not on technical mishaps but to become confident in the movement!
