EeLean Oh is from Malaysia where she started her piano lessons at the age of 4. Since then, she has never looked back. She received her training and graduated from the Royal School of Music and under the syllabus of Royal Academy of Music, London. When she was 13, she started as an accompanist for her middle school choir group. Later, she became assistant piano teacher helping with the younger students and also for a ballet studio. Eelean’s former students include royalty and diplomats. EeLean has taught piano all over the world both as a private teacher and as a music teacher. She moved to New York in 1998 where she continued to teach piano, taught mommy and me classes and played as an accompanist for churches, glee clubs, and schools.
Currently EeLean lives in the South Bay. She teaches piano and Mandarin and is an accompanist for Manhattan Beach Middle School Orchestra. EeLean is thrilled to work with Ms. Francesca and bring live music to Dance 1.
